Experience a day with the local people in the rural outskirts of Hoi An. Start your morning with a leisurely 4km bike ride through the countryside, heading to Tra Que vegetable village. Stroll around vegetable gardens, join the farmers to prepare the land and learn the local form of fertilization using seaweed from the local lake. Learn the gardening methods and how they cultivate the vegetables, followed by a local boat trip to Cua Dai Sea to visit a fishing village where you will get the chance to work with local fishermen and find out about traditional fishing methods. Learn to differentiate traditional fishing tools, how to cast a net - and catch some fish! - And how to ride the basket boat. A late lunch will be served on your boat. Cycle back to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.
