Day 01: Hanoi Arrival
Arrival at Noi Bai International Ariport. you are met our tour guide and transfered to Hotel, Hanoi – Vietnam’s capital, is a stylish and gracious city that retain an unique old world charm and some Asia’s most striking colonial architecture. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 02: Hanoi – Halong bay
AM: Pick up at Hotel. Drive to the historic complex of Ba Dinh. Visit Ba Dinh Square, where The Late President Ho Chi Minh declared Vietnams Independence on 2 September 1945, Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and continue to the One Pillar Pagoda, the must-see monument in Hanoi. It is an ancient Buddhist pagoda, built in the early 11th century in the reign of King Ly Thai Tong, all construction supported by only one pillar, resembling a Buddhist lotus. Tran Quoc Pagoda. Quan Thanh Temple.
PM: After lunch, tranfer to Halong bay (03 hours road trip). We enjoy the most beautiful nature with picturesque paddy fields over rivers and agricultural areas, for we reach the magnificent Halong Bay. Overnight Halong Bay. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Day 03: Halong bay – Hanoi – Luang Prabang
AM: Take a private boat trip to visit Ha Long bay (A Natural World Heritage) with: Thien Cung grotto, Dau Go Cave, Dinh Huong, Ga Choi Islet, ... Which is crammed with stalactites and stalagmites. There are numerous rocks and islands, which are predominantly composed of hardened dolomite together with smaller amounts of calcium carbonate. Lunch on boat with fresh seafood.
PM: Transfer back to Ha Noi. Then transfer to airport flight to Luang Prabang . Overnight in Luang Prabang. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Day 04: Luang Prabang City tours
Breakfast at hotel , We spend the day touring Lao capital, visiting the National Museum (Revolutionary Museum) where varied antique items and legend of Laos’s history fighters and leaders displace from the ancient times to new revolution period. We then board a short flight to Luang Prabang, which is perhaps the best - preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. UNESCO registered 1995 as World Cultural Heritage City. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Asia. We are strolling around to see the Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang, we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as viewing a beautiful panorama sunset over this once royal ancient city and the Mekong River. Overnight in Luang Prabang. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Day 05: Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Cave
Breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai, Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. We then board a boat embarking upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the local rice wine. On return, We take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving. Overnight in Luang Prabang. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Day 06: Luang Prabang – Siem Reap
After breakfast, free at your leisure till transfer to Airport departure for Siem Reap on VN 869 (10:20 – 12:00). Upon arrival, you will be transferred from airport straight to Angkor Archeological park, visiting to South gate of accident capital of Angkor Thom, including Bayon, Baphoun, Phimeanakas, Terrace of Elephant, Terrace of Leper king and Ta Prohm (jungle temple). Afternoon, visit to Angkor Wat and sunset at Phnom Bakeng hill top. Diner at local restaurant with traditional dance show. Overnight in Siem Reap. Meals: Breakfast/ Dinner
Day 07: Siem Reap
Breafast at hotel. This morning, we drive through the villages along with the view of countryside to see Banteay Srei temple. Banteay Srei is the most beautiful carving temple with the pink sanstone and well-known as the temple have no space un-carving. On the way back to Siem Reap town we will see one more temple called Banteay Samre. Lunch at local restaurant. This afternoon, visiting floating village Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia. Visit "Les Artisans d'Angkor - Chantiers Ecoles" of Siem Reap and time at leisure at the local market (if time permits). Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Note: From Feb-July, the visit to the Tonle Sap lake is not recommended because of the low water level. The below visits will be provided instead in the morning.
Visit to the Dance school of Aspeca where you can watch young children learn the ancient traditional Khmer dances. Visit Wat Inkosei built on the site of an ancient temple, which still remains. Continue to Wat Bo pagoda to view its well-preserved paintings. You will also observe monks making the various moldings, which adorn the pagodas. Visit a workshop where traditional shadow play puppets are made. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Day 08: Siem Reap - Ho Chi Minh
After breakfast, free at your leisure till transfer to Airport departure for Ho Chi Minh on VN 808 (10:25 – 11:45). A short Sai Gon city tour (if time permit): Cho Lon (Big market of Chinese in Saigon), Thien Hau Pagoda, Shopping at China Town. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Day 09: Ho Chi Minh Tours & Cu Chi Tunnels
AM: Pick up at hotel, transfer to visit Cu Chi Tunnel. Sight-seeing on road: rice field, potter's kilns. Visit the underground village, which used to be a bitter battle ground for a long period during the Vietnam war. The amazing network of over 200 km of undergound tunnels will offer you impression of the former fierce war in South Vietnam.
PM: Have a Sai Gon city tour: Visit the Reunification Palace, War Crime Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office, former US Embassy, shopping at Ben Thanh Market. Overnight in Sai Gon. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Day 10 : Ho Chi Minh - Can Tho
Hotel check out and departure for the Mekong Delta via vehicle. Proceed south through the lush rice fields of Long An Province and cross the Goliath northern branch of the Mekong River (the Song My Tho) on the first bridge ever to cross any of the Mekong’s five-major distributaries rivers at My Thuan. Continue south through Vinh Long to the Bassac River and cross the Bassac on the 100-Ton Can Tho Ferry and enter the city of Can Tho, the unofficial capital of the Mekong Delta in the very center the world’s newest river delta. Check in Hotel. Late afternoon 2-hours boat ride through the beautiful and lush rivers and canals of the Can Tho area. Overnight in Can Tho. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Day 11: Can Tho – Ho Chi Minh
Mid-morning check out and return to Saigon by vehicle. The rest of the day is free. Overnight in Saigon. Meals: Breakfast/ Lunch
Day 12 : Ho Chi Minh Departure/ Goodbye Vietnam
Transfer to Airport for departure. Home sweet home. Meals: Breakfast
